St. George is a larger medium-sized city located in the state of Utah. With a population of 82,318 people and 12 constituent neighbourhoods, St. George is the eighth largest community in Utah.

Unlike some cities where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, St. George is neither predominantly one nor the other. Instead, it has a mixed workforce of both white- and blue-collar jobs. Overall, St. George is a city of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals. St. George is a somewhat ethnically-diverse city. The people who call St. George home describe themselves as belonging to a variety of racial and ethnic groups. The greatest number of St. George residents report their race to be White, followed by Native Hawaiian. St. George also has a sizeable Hispanic population (people of Hispanic origin can be of any race). People of Hispanic or Latino origin account for 13.11% of the city’s residents. With nearly 365 sunny days in a calendar year, St George features incredibly mild weather, with temperatures rarely ever dipping below 30 degrees in the cold months of the year, this area pretty much never sees snow, total monthly precipitation is typically below 0.20.

 

St George climate is very dry, so even during the hot months of the year high temperatures are very manageable, and allow to continue to enjoy the outdoor activities. Summer months are perfect for early morning cycling, running, hiking, walking the trails and golfing while the afternoons are best spent by the pool or on the outdoor patios taking in al the beautiful views that this area has to offer.

St. George is Utah's golf capital. Weather is mild during winter and so golf is enjoyable year-round. As a result, some of the best courses in the southwestern US can be found here.
