In this video we are going to share some industry secrets on why going house hunting during the holidays is a great idea. This video was filmed in a beautiful park decorated for the holidays in historic downtown St George Southern Utah real estate market is extremely busy during spring, summer and early fall months, but things tend to slow down during November, December, and January. Historically Southern Utah real estate market turns from a hot seller's market to a slower paced buyer’s market during the holidays, making it much easier for buyers to put their dream home under contract without having to fight in multiple offer situations or see homes go under contract in a matter of days and sometimes even hours. Another huge advantage to holiday House Hunting is the availability of home inspectors, appraisers, lenders and all other vendors involved in your real estate transaction. As the market slows down most vendors are experiencing a lighter workload and therefore able to spend more time dedicated to your real estate transaction. Lenders are typically less busy during the holiday season, and often able to get your deal past underwriting much faster than during the busy season.
